Connection fees

The cost to connect your next project to natural gas will now be less than it would have been in the past.
 
Recent changes to the connection fees include:
  • elimination of the $215 service line installation fee
  • increased service line cost allowance from $1100 to $1535 (for infills)
  • changes to the economic test that may make it less costly to connect to the gas system, and
  • a new energy efficiency credit

Energy efficiency credit

Projects that include energy conservation efforts may qualify for volume credits. These credits are applied to reduce the overall installation cost and ultimately any costs the builder may pay.
 
Volume credit
High efficiency space & water heating systems 10%
LEED building certification, plus high efficiency space & water heating systems 15%
