Include the following when you submit your application:

• the quantity and type of gas appliances to be connected,
• your delivery pressure, and
• the name and phone number of your heating contractor.

Coordinate with Terasen Gas

After we receive your application, a Terasen Gas install coordinator will contact you with immediate pricing for routine jobs, automated processing and scheduling capability.

If you are requesting service for a commercial project or subdivision, you must provide a detailed site plan. Each meter set needs a separate identifiable civic address.

Prepare the site

Before we can install service, you'll need to prepare the site for installation:

• clear trees, brush, dirt piles, building materials and other obstructions from the right of way and service/trench route - allow three metres (10 feet) of clearance for equipment
• identify your property boundaries with stakes or flags
• identify buildings and mark meter locations
• show future building plans such as decks, patios, landscaping or fencing that might interfere with the location of your natural gas installation
• mark the location of underground facilities or expose them by hand
