Are you moving?
Avoid being charged for gas usage after you've moved. Call us well in advance, and no later than two working days beforehand, that you want to stop service.

Gas services for new construction and renovation projects
To start, stop or move your gas service, submit your completed application by online form, fax, phone or email. We will then contact you with a price quote and review the service agreement for your approval.

To arrange gas services for new construction or renovation projects:

Include the following when you submit your application:
- the quantity and type of gas appliances to be connected,
- your delivery pressure, and
- the name and phone number of your heating contractor.
To meet your request, we require a minimum lead time of 3 weeks for the Lower Mainland (Metro Vancouver), 4 weeks for the Interior, 5 weeks for Squamish, and 5 weeks for Vancouver Island and Whistler.
*Please note some installations may require intensive planning and will not fall within these time frames. In those instances we will have a planner contact you regarding your project.
Removal
To have gas service removed, for example for a building demolition, submit the gas abandonment application form using the
online gas application form, or download it in

Starting a new account with Terasen Gas
Please note that there is a $25 application fee to cover administrative costs when opening a new account. Also, some new customers may be required to provide a security deposit.
