Last update: June 30, 2008During the spring, summer and early fall the likelihood of curtailment will be low. However, interruptible customers are advised to always keep their back-up systems ready.

Background
Interruption of service due to operational or weather related system constraints is at Terasen Gas' discretion.
With a minimum of two hours notice, customers on interruptible transportation rates can be required to stop using natural gas and switch to an alternate energy source.
