East Kootenays - Rate 7
This Interruptible Service Rate is for large volume customers that have the ability to switch to an alternate energy source.
Interruption of service can typically occur during the coldest days of the year and the customer will be required to stop using natural gas with a minimum of two hours notice.
The rate structure consists of:
- a fixed basic monthly charge, and
- variable charges for each gigajoule (GJ)of gas consumed.
Variable charges cover:
- delivery of the gas (also called transportation), and
- the commodity (the gas consumed).
Rate 7 is authorized by written contract only, and specific terms and conditions may apply.
