Rate 23 – Commercial Transportation Service

This rate is for commercial, institutional, multi-family, and other accounts with an annual consumption of 2,000 gigajoules (GJ) or more.

The rate structure consists of fixed and variable charges.

Fixed charges

The fixed charges are independent of the volume of gas used each month:

a basic charge, and
an administration charge

Variable charges

The variable charges are for the delivery (also called transportation) of each GJ of gas consumed.

Rate 23 is authorized by written contract with Terasen Gas, and specific terms and conditions may apply.

Note: Customers have a separate gas commodity contract with their chosen gas marketer.
