This information is based on natural gas heated Domestic Hot Water; such as gas fired water tanks or boilers used to heat water for showers, laundry, dishwashers, etc. If your DHW is NOT heated with natural gas, contact Terasen for a consumption estimate.
This information is based upon a survey of more than 200 Multi-family buildings, comprising nearly 14,000 suites and 12,000,000 square feet of floor space. Information is based on averages computed from the data derived from those buildings.
Consumption within ± 10% of these values should still be considered within average ranges. Data should not be used to predict or forecast consumption. It is intended as a comparison guide only. Consumption and cost values have been rounded.
If your consumption is much greater than average, you should be looking at ways to reduce your consumption. Contact Terasen Gas to discuss your application, or refer to our website for energy conservation tips and suggestions.
Prices and costs shown do not include any taxes and/or franchise fees. Rate 5 & 25 prices include Demand Charges. Transportation rates (R23 & R25) are estimates only. Transport commodity prices are set by marketers, not by Terasen Gas.
