Connection fees
The cost to connect your home to natural gas could be as little as $85.
If there is already a gas main on your street, and the actual cost to install natural gas in your home is less than $1,535, then you will only be charged an $85 installation fee plus GST. In some instances, the cost to install natural gas may be greater than $1,535, in which case an additional amount will be required to install your service.
If there isn't a gas main on your street, an economic test will be performed. This will determine whether or not an additional contribution, over and above the $85 installation fee, is required to install gas service. Generally, economic tests of gas mains are positive and contributions are not required; however, in some instances an additional contribution is necessary.
Installing a new gas service
To have a new or additional gas service line installed, submit your completed application form by fax or e-mail.
