Patio heaters
Patio heaters are often called "comfort heaters" because they create comfortable, warm areas for outdoor entertaining. Imagine dining "al fresco" on your patio on an otherwise nippy September night. Or staying a little bit warmer after an evening swim or hot tub. Or having a great (and warm!) spillover area for your party guests.
Quick tips
- Try to install patio heaters where you can best use their heat — a somewhat weather-protected area is ideal. Patio heaters operate well in exposed areas too, but protection from weather and wind is best.
- Patio heaters come in several sizes from 20,000 Btu/hour to 50,000 Btu/hour. Generally, the warmth from patio heaters covers a three to six-metre circle, depending on the size and Btu of the model you choose.
- Patio heaters can be permanently installed or portable, freestanding or hanging.
Patio lamps
Add security and charm to your yard with the warm glow of natural gas lamps. They provide security lighting while adding a stylish new look to your home and landscaping.
Benefits
- provide an aesthetically pleasing glow
- offer ample illumination to light dark corners or pathways
- don't give off harsh glare, unlike electric lights
- don't attract bugs
