Returning to Terasen Gas

It's simple to return to Terasen Gas if you want to.

When your contract expires

If your contract contains an evergreen provision, contact your gas marketer at least 60 days before your contract expires, and inform them of your intent to return to Terasen Gas for your gas supply.

Upon receiving notification of your intent, your marketer will advise Terasen Gas. This will trigger the resumption of your gas supply from Terasen Gas when the contract with your gas marketer expires. 

There's nothing more you need to do once you have advised your gas marketer.

If your contract does not contain an evergreen provision, you do not need to contact your gas marketer if you want to return to Terasen Gas at the end of your contract.  In this case you will be automatically returned to Terasen Gas when your contract expires.

This provision allows you to break your contract -- usually with a penalty -- at the 12 month anniversary dates from the start of the contract.
