For Terasen, 2009 was a pivotal year.

 

We completed the new pipeline from Squamish to Whistler and converted the Resort Municipality of Whistler to natural gas. New products and services were introduced, energy efficiency and conservation offers were expanded, and we undertook about $250 million of capital investment here in B.C.

 

We made exciting progress in the development of alternative energy solutions and advanced our relationships with communities, government, industry and First Nations while continuing to show improvement in customer satisfaction ratings. Terasen did not publish annual reports for 2005 and 2006. During that time, Terasen was a subsidiary of Kinder Morgan, Inc. Terasen became a  Fortis company in May 2007.
