Terasen Gas supports – with a 50 per cent donation match – employees who deduct funds from their pay to donate them to one of these very worthy causes:

Warm Hearts supports the health and well being of the communities close to the hearts of Terasen Gas employees. Since its inception in 1994, almost $500,000 has been donated by employees to charitable organizations throughout the company’s service areas. Warm Hearts was founded and is still managed today by employee volunteers.

The United Way addresses community issues of poverty and integration in children and seniors. They create and support initiatives including childhood nutrition, developmental and educational success, and senior health and independence and more. The United Way receives year long support through employee payroll donations.

Once a year, employees can also choose to give directly to a registered not-for-profit organization of their choice. Terasen Gas will match the donation by 50 per cent when the donation is between $100 and $1,000.
