Employee giving
We support and encourage employees to give time and efforts to their chosen charitable projects. Employees can also support their causes with donations. Once a year, employees can apply for a $300 donation for the organization they wish to support.
Some of the organizations who have been recipients of these funds on behalf of Terasen employees in 2009 include:
- Covenant House Vancouver
- Rotary Club – Matsqui-Abbotsford Chapter
- Peace Arch Community Services Foundation
- Kelowna Volunteer Fire Department
- Vancouver Adaptive Snow Sports
- South Slope and the BC Provincial School for the Deaf
- Hockey for the Homeless
- BC SPCA
- various arts programs and minor sports associations throughout BC
