Co-op placements and internships -
a renewable resource
Interns and co-op students work in the Terasen Gas department that best complements their education with 'real world' knowledge and a chance to explore long term career goals. As a student working on your undergraduate or graduate degree, you'll gain firsthand experience in your field here at Terasen Gas.
Co-operative education
Co-operative education ("co-op") is a program in which post-secondary, undergraduate students work for a semester to gain paid experience in their field.
Participation is based on the university's semester system, lasting from 12 to 16 weeks and usually beginning in January, May and September.
To be eligible for co-op positions, you must register with the co-op program at your post-secondary institution.
Internships
Internships have many of the same benefits as co-op positions, but interns have completed their undergraduate degrees, and are enrolled in a graduate program. The work term is from June to August.
These opportunities are posted at participating post-secondary institutions.
A co-op or internship could be just the beginning
If you're interested in areas such as Engineering, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Trades and Technology and more, Terasen Gas is a great place to learn. We consider co-op students and interns to be potential full-time employees for the future. Could one of them be you?
To apply, please contact the co-op coordinator at your school.
