We encourage our employees' commitment to their communities and provide opportunities for their involvement and personal fulfillment.
Warm Hearts - Our employee-run charitable foundation supports health and well-being in communities across the province.
Since founding Warm Hearts 13 years ago, our employees have donated more than $430,000 to over 70 charities across BC.
Environmental Community Outreach - Known as ECO, this program supports employees and community groups who want to do something good for the environment.
Recent projects include:
- a stream-side clean up in Surrey
- creation and stewardship of a Purple Martin habitat in Victoria.
Terasen Talkers - Our company-sponsored Toastmaster's Club teaches public speaking as well as communication and leadership skills.
Terasen Gas fitness centres - All employees have access to company gyms located at Terasen Gas offices in Surrey and Burnaby for fees that are much more affordable than those charged by private gyms.
